A man hailing from Bihar was fatally shot by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening, according to officials.
Reports indicate that the victim, identified as Raju Shah from Bihar, was targeted by terrorists at close range in the Bijbehara area of Anantnag.

“The terrorists fired upon Raju Shah, a non-local resident from Bihar, in the Bijbehara area. He sustained critical injuries, including wounds to the neck and abdomen, and was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment,” an official stated.
Following the incident, police teams swiftly arrived at the scene, secured the area, and initiated search operations to apprehend the perpetrators, the official further elaborated.
