The results for the by-election of the Rupali Assembly seat in Bihar are starting to come in. The contest is primarily between JDU’s Kaladhar Prasad Mandal, RJD’s Bima Bharti, and independent candidate Shankar Singh.
After the first round of counting, JDU’s Kaladhar Mandal is leading with a margin of 2,433 votes, having secured 6,588 votes. Independent candidate Shankar Singh is in second place with 4,155 votes, while RJD’s Bima Bharti is in third place with 2,359 votes.
